Spoilers: Mick and Linda make a big decision about their future in EastEnders

Mick and Linda Carter (Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright) have been through over the past couple of months in EastEnders, and there’s more conflict ahead for the beloved couple, as Linda struggles to stick to her promise to stay off the booze — resulting in them making a huge decision about their future.

After the boat crash, Linda promised Mick that she would give up the booze, as she knows full well that she’s an alcoholic. In the weeks that have passed since then, she’s managed to stick to that promise, and — in the coming episodes — she refuses to let Shirley (Linda Henry) dampen the progress she’s made.

What’s more, she reassures the social worker, before heading off to be there for Sharon (Letitia Dean), as the day of Dennis’ (Bleu Landau) funeral arrives.

With emotions running high, Sharon notices something that Linda missed, and she shares some harsh words with her as a result — leaving Linda mortified.

Linda returns home and reveals to Mick that she’s ready to return to work full-time, but later she discovers Shirley’s vodka and thus pours herself a drink.

Shirley catches Linda, and when Mick arrives, Linda reveals that she did, in fact, have a drink.

Later, she opens up to Mick about her struggles, and — as they put Ollie to bed and read to him — they come to a decision.

The question is: what have they decided?

Will they leave Walford perhaps?
